Hi! This is a small archive of thoughts that refuse to stay in my head.
I’m a teen living in Gurgaon, India, trying not to suffocate under the weight of incessant pollution and life’s predicaments. I write to make sense of things that don’t have easy answers.
Something I’d want you to know: I’m not writing to preach or offer life-changing advice, but just to map what it feels like to grow up in a world that’s constantly shifting.

What is Teenage Tribulations?
This is a blog that I hope will become a safe space for other teens and youth over the internet- where all the “unspoken” aspects of teenage life can be discussed freely.
Here’s what you can find stirred into this website:
- my raw experience as I navigate this world- the good, the bad, and the ugly
- occasionally constructive advice
- the lens through which I view the world, from facts to over-romanticizing everything around me
- controversial opinions and my take on real-world issues
- sporadic poetry posts when bursts of inspiration hit me
Who is this blog for?
The short answer: anyone and everyone. While my blog title is ‘Teenage Tribulations’, I hope my musings can resonate with people across generations, and that sharing a little bit of my life might make others feel a little less alone.
Growing up, I’ve visited hundreds of blogs online. The idea of someone writing real-time posts and addressing an audience always seemed so exciting (and it’s even better sitting behind the laptop and trying to weave a tangle of thoughts into coherent posts).
Why this blog among all the noise online?
Because it’s not polished.
This blog is for everyone tired of perfect people saying perfect things in perfect fonts.
Whether you’re a fellow teen navigating life or a person in your mid-life crisis, I hope this space gives you a little comfort in this tedious world!
Stay a little longer…
If any of this feels familiar, or if a line in here tugged at you- stay a little longer.
You can:
- follow the blog and catch new rambling posts the moment they arrive
- leave a comment (I love knowing if my words could have rippled somewhere else in the world; or just getting suggestions through the comments)
- or wander through older pieces and see which ones choose you.
This space grows along with the people who read it.
Come along?
Yours truly,
Divi
